2005 - Construction planning: First steps towards building our winery.

2006 - Winery construction: Under a modern and functional architectural vision, the construction of the first tank and barrel room, hospitality area, and offices began.

2007 - Tourism center and offices: At the beginning, the offices were temporarily located in the hospitality room until it was open to tourism.

2010 - Winery property without vineyards: The winery was surrounded by gardens. At that time, Viña Cobos did not have own vineyards but from its beginning worked together with producers from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley.

2010 - Opening of the Hospitality Cente: We inaugurated our first Hospitality and Tourism room, a space designed to share the philosophy and identity of Viña Cobos.

2012 - Planting of the first proprietary vineyard : Our first proprietary vineyard was planted with the assistance of the entire Viña Cobos team, and Cabernet Sauvignon was the chosen varietal for this beginning.

2014 - A new estate, a new challenge: We finished planting the vineyards surrounding the winery with Malbec rows.

2023 - Hospitality Center Evolution: We have redesigned our space to welcome visitors from across the globe, offering them a unique wine-focused experience.

2023 - Viña Cobos Winery: We continue the expansion process, and today Viña Cobos boasts two tank and three barrel rooms, and a new hospitality building. The entire winery is surrounded by our Hobbs Estate vineyard.

2006 - Beginning of a tradition: Throughout the winery's construction, each Friday, the entire team would gather to share an “asado”, establishing a tradition that would persist for years.

2013 - A growing team: As the winery expanded, our team grew, and the tradition endured.

2023 -History with tradition: Today our team has more than 60 members who meet every Friday to enjoy the traditional asado.

Paul and el Negro Bin: Paul Hobbs with his friend and advisor, engineer "Negro" Bin, who motivated the purchase of Chanares Estate in 2013.

Quito Zingaretti: Our beloved 'Quito' Zingaretti, a grower we worked with for years. In 2017, we acquired his estate in the Uco Valley, which still bears his family name: Zingaretti Estate.

Founding partners: Paul Hobbs, Andrea Marchiori and Luis Barraud, together with Nico Volturo, owner of Marchiori Estate, the first grower we worked with. Our wine "Volturno" is a tribute to him.

2008- Viña Cobos team: In our early days, we had a small team, who with their professionalism and commitment, contributed to the year-by-year growth of Viña Cobos. Today many of them continue being part of this history.

2019- Talent developers: Part of our philosophy is the personal and professional development of our team members, fostering exceptional talents that have shaped our history and continue to pave new paths today.

2023- Strategic Team: José Giménez, Paul Hobbs and Carlos de Carlos, our strategic team that drives and leads Viña Cobos.

2023-Viña Cobos team: Currently, 60 professionals who constitute a proactive and synergistic team with shared objectives.
