In our tireless search for superlative quality, innovation and meticulous work, our Vineyard Designate line was born, revealing the unique identity of each terroir. The expression and richness of outstanding parcels of unique vineyards located in Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco .
As part of our 25th anniversary, we present Hobbs Estate, in honor of our founder Paul Hobbs, which joins Zingaretti Estate and Chañares Estate within this luxury line, which is dressed in silver for this exclusive celebration.

2005 - Construction planning: First steps towards building our winery.

2006 - Winery construction: Under a modern and functional architectural vision, the construction of the first tank and barrel room, hospitality area, and offices began.

2007 - Tourism center and offices: At the beginning, the offices were temporarily located in the hospitality room until it was open to tourism.

2010 - Winery property without vineyards: The winery was surrounded by gardens. At that time, Viña Cobos did not have own vineyards but from its beginning worked together with producers from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley.

2010 - Opening of the Hospitality Cente: We inaugurated our first Hospitality and Tourism room, a space designed to share the philosophy and identity of Viña Cobos.

2012 - Planting of the first proprietary vineyard : Our first proprietary vineyard was planted with the assistance of the entire Viña Cobos team, and Cabernet Sauvignon was the chosen varietal for this beginning.

2014 - A new estate, a new challenge: We finished planting the vineyards surrounding the winery with Malbec rows.

2023 - Hospitality Center Evolution: We have redesigned our space to welcome visitors from across the globe, offering them a unique wine-focused experience.

2023 - Viña Cobos Winery: We continue the expansion process, and today Viña Cobos boasts two tank and three barrel rooms, and a new hospitality building. The entire winery is surrounded by our Hobbs Estate vineyard.

Quito Zingaretti: Our beloved 'Quito' Zingaretti, a grower we worked with for years. In 2017, we acquired his estate in the Uco Valley, which still bears his family name: Zingaretti Estate.

Felino
Inaugural harvest: 2000
Concept: The authenticity and purity of our varietals, fresh and vibrant, made from carefully selected grapes. The perfect introduction to the Mendoza terroir. It began under the name "Nativo" and each varietal invoked the name of a native animal. The Felino line was renamed for having the characteristics most closely related to the line.
