Hobbs Estate was Viña Cobos' first vineyard, located in the vicinity of the winery. It's a tribute to our founder and winemaker, Paul Hobbs.
Its soil varies in different sectors of the vineyard, generally we find a heavier first layer with a higher proportion of clay that covers between the first 10cm to 40 cm. Then a sandy loam texture appears that allows good water drainage. In addition, it has rocks of various sizes that are abundant in some sectors.
